Position Overview:

As a rental sales representative for Finning you will be responsible for growing the rental territory and market share with existing, potential and new customers.

You are a sales hunter and enjoy the endless possibilities of growing a territory by your determination to develop strong, positive customer relationships with the Finning Brand to support you.

The total annual compensation target is $100,000-$125,000

Job Description:
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.

Education & Experience:

  • Three to five years of direct sales or marketing experience
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to apply logical thinking to a wide range of problems, collect data, draw conclusions and offer constructive opinions concerning day-to-day activities
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Constant interaction with internal staff and the public

Travel within the region is required.
