Our client, a division of a global world class manufacturer in the Newmarket area, is currently looking for a Process Engineering Specialist. This position is accountable to plan, analyze, implement and evaluate continuous improvement opportunities to existing equipment/processes.

Minimum requirements:

• A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering

• Experience as a Process Engineer / Manufacuring Engineer while being employed with a tier 1 automotive manufacturing company

Responsibilities:

• Utilize root cause problem solving methods to analyze issues

• Identify quality improvements and implement mistake/error proofing fixtures and devices

• Prepare capital projects and acquire quotes

• Conduct Engineering Feasibility Studies (EFSs)

• Initiate Process Change Notifications (PCNs)

• Keep all necessary product information up-to-date and readily available

• Facilitate quality and productivity related meetings
