Job Description

Arcadis' Boca Raton, FL office is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the planning and leadership of large transportation projects to ensure effective execution and shall serve as the primary client liaison responsible for overall client satisfaction.

Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI's Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places' capabilities, and CRTKL's multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and other stakeholders on assigned projects
  • Participate in proposal preparation, client negotiations, and contract review
  • Oversee the project at the earliest stage of development through to construction stage.
  • Manage/prioritize project activities, ensuring a high level of service and support to the client(s)
  • Schedule/lead team meetings; coordinate with all disciplines to ensure project milestones/deadlines are being met
  • Document and manage team efforts, budgets, cost controls, and schedules
  • Actively participate in quality reviews throughout the project; ensure reviews are conducted per the project plan
  • Address issues as they arise, escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution
  • Monitor/manage budgets; proactively negotiate with client as scope/budget changes occur
  • Work closely with Project Accountant(s) to ensure timely client billings; review/revise/return invoices monthly to meet internal timelines
  • Communicate project financial performance data with the team
  • Participate in construction administration, including submittals, RFI's, supplementary instructions, OAC meetings, and project closeout
  • Maintain effective dialogue with regulatory bodies and standards organizations
  • Forge favorable relationships with clients and their staff through regular meetings; stay informed of their business needs, future projects
  • Expand business with existing clients, participate in new business development through personal and new client contacts
  • Remain current on industry trends and make recommendations on significant issues; provide input to the marketing and operational plan
Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor and/or Master of Architecture Degree
  • Licensed Architect
  • 15 years of relevantexperience
  • Strong knowledge in Contract Administration and CA documentation is required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Experience leading a project team, able to support members in achieving business objectives and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to foster a cohesive team environment within assigned projects and across the organization as a whole
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Autocad and Revit required
