Tasks:
  1. Establish work schedules and procedures
  2. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  3. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  4. Prepare and submit reports
  5. Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  6. Maintain work records and logs
  7. Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  8. Monitor production progress
  9. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
  10. Keep track of shipments
  11. Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
  12. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
  13. Organize and maintain inventory

Supervision: 5-10 people
