Our client is a "people first" organisation, seeking a technical whizz to join the team as their new Product Development Manager! Given the growth and success, they are now seeking a talented and technical insurance professional to create, maintain, deploy and optimise their products.
As the Manager of Product Development in this exciting and unique opportunity, your day will be filled with:
Collaborating closely with:
- Practice Group Leaders, Account Executives, Account Managers, and Marketers to pinpoint product opportunities tailored to their portfolios.
- Director of Market Management to negotiate growth agreements and incentives for innovative products.
- Internal Claims team to detect trends and identify coverage gaps for product enhancement.
- Internal Marketing to craft compelling sell sheets and presentations for new product launches.
- Internal Underwriters for specialized products under binding authorities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and prioritizing insurance product development opportunities within the existing client base and potential new markets.
- Spearheading benchmarking projects to stay ahead of industry standards.
- Utilizing your market connections to negotiate tailored product offerings.
- Effectively managing a team of insurance professionals.
- Mentoring and empowering others to reach their full potential.

To be successful in this role, you need 8-10 years of technical commercial broking and a level l2 license. Huge points if you have been involved with developing programs!
