Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) - Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks one Maternal Fetal Medicine subspecialist with clinical and academic interests to join their team. Responsibilities will include inpatient, outpatient and community clinical and academic service. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary care environment.

The successful candidate will have appointments in both the SHA and the University of Saskatchewan. There are 5,700 deliveries per year and a maternal fetal ultrasound unit for outpatient ultrasounds and procedures.

Location of practice: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

The Maternal Care Centre of Jim Pattison Children's Hospital (JPCH) provides 24/7 services and features:

  • Single Room Maternal Care (49 private rooms and 3 operating rooms)
  • Prenatal Unit (8 private rooms)
  • Maternal Assessment (8 private rooms)
  • Maternal Fetal Unit (3 exam rooms and 2 consult rooms)
  • Maternal Outpatient Department (5 exam rooms)
