AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring Millwright/Maintenance Technicians for an upcoming 2-4 month assignment in Southwestern Ontario. 13 per hour Meal Allowance: $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required) Perform routine maintenance and repairs associated with various machinery in a manufacturing environment # Install, repair, and maintain machinery equipment and the facility # Write and install custom PLC coding # Troubleshoot and modify PLC and HMI applications of automated process equipment # Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance # Use and interpret schematics and blueprints related to plant equipment # Practice and maintain standard operating procedures and remain compliant with all quality, safety, production, and environmental rules, standards, and regulations # Maintain accurate up-to-date maintenance database records # Experience with rigging of equipment, set-up, and alignment of machinery and equipment # Maintain plant equipment at optimum efficiency Forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift certifications (preferred) Millwright certification or apprenticeship (preferred) PLC technical certification with at least 2 years' experience as a PLC programmer (preferred) Minimum 1 year millwright experience in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems Demonstrated strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal) AFIMAC is a global risk management and elite security company.
