Are you up for a challenge in the world of high-tech? We'd love to have you on board! Eddyfi Technologies is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to joinr our Production team.
Your daily life:
As a key member of the team , you will be using assembly procedures and mechanical drawings. You will ensure the accuracy of assembly. You will use your experience, attention to detail and dexterity to fabricate standard and custom devices, systems, mechanisms and other assemblies to exacting specifications.
In this role, you will:
- Wire, weld and assemble various components for mechanical systems;
- Repair or update units and products;
- Maintain production and quality standards and apply technical knowledge and industry best practices;
- Communicate irregularities in assembly procedures, mechanical parts and quality to the production team leader;
- Use precision tools and measuring devices to perform assembly activities;
- Follow verbal and written instructions such as detailed drawings, schematics, procedures and assembly sketches when performing various assembly and sub-assembly tasks;
- Collaborate with other areas as necessary, in particular with the integration team and quality control;
- Contribute to health and safety in the workplace, ensuring that the workspace is safe, orderly and functional;
- Any other tasks related to production.
What We're Looking For:
- You have a highschool diploma or professional diploma in a related field or relevant experience;
- You have experience in mechanical assembling;
- You have experience and skills in managing related hand tools, welding, crimping, clamping, etc. (an asset);
- You are able to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical assemblies, schematics and electrical diagrams;
- You're independent, resourceful and a good team player.
