Our client is hiring an Electrical Designer in Windsor. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Revit, strong electrical design experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-discipline environment. Prepare cost estimates and various reports based on collected data (power studies, Arc Flash, etc.) for Senior reviewers Develop electrical schematics/layouts (SLD, power distribution, lighting layouts, panel schedules, load calculations, etc.) based on project deliverables Liaise with Clients and Local Distribution Companies Assist in Contract Administration (prepare Form of Tender documentation, organize specifications, review tender submissions, etc.) Performs field checks for gathering data, measurements verification and coordination. Perform Construction Administration during construction, systems start-ups and system buyoffs Experience in an engineering environment Bachelor's degree in engineering or technologist diploma with electrical focus or equivalent experience Proficiency in Revit Knowledge of electrical theory and basic construction and design of electrical distribution systems and various electrical studies Electrical modeling software considered an asset Instrumentation and control experience considered an asset Proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD is required Experience in BIM 360 and Inventor Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Software Must have superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task with multiple projects Hold a valid Canadian driver's license with a good driving record Forge Consulting Group prides itself on delivering a quality service to all our clients.
