Required immediately, our Local Abbotsford branch is seeking an experienced SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER!
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Related education combined with 4 – 7 years sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to proactively build the business in the assigned segment
- Possess strong organizational skills and "live" in the details
- Be able to approach situations with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Enjoy working in a challenging, fast paced environment
- Be able to lift/carry 25-60lbs
- Have basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products and ability to learn other software programs and data bases
- Intermediate mathematical skills, with a solid understanding of fractions and measurements
- Ability to review and interpret architectural layouts and elevations
- Able to travel to local clients daily & be available to travel & work occasional evenings & weekends
- Possess a clear valid Driver's License and criminal record check
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively build designated territory by fostering and maintaining relationships within designated area in order to achieve sales targets
- Follow proven sales approach
- Providing regular two-way communication between the Client and Company, to provide strong Company representation
- Actively promote new products and color lines
- Manage dealer display boards and sample orders
- Prepare and conduct sales presentations
- Monitor sales trends, report on trends and budgeting
- Act as the Company representative with relevant professional associations and conducts client visits to develop/maintain customer loyalty
- Support commercial projects by facilitating orders, managing color boards and tracking project status
- Coordinates supply when required and processes material takeovers for purchasing
- Responds to customer inquires and complaints, coordinating activities with other departments as necessary
- Provides quotes and may enter in orders/quotes into computer system and confirms availability of product
- Other duties as assigned
