You're a creator — a conceptual thinker with a maker's toolbox and an investigative journalist's curiosity. You play around in Photoshop and Adobe suite, edit TikTok videos for fun, maintain a strong, interesting social presence, and have a favourite font. You understand how to create, weave, maintain, and alter narratives big and small. From inspiring thought leadership pieces to hooky social posts and everything in-between, this is what you were born to do. You are a self-starter but also love to collaborate with a team.

The successful candidate in this role will work closely with following team members:
• Executive Director
• Sr Marketing Manager; Sr PR Manager

This is a full-time role. Our standard office work week is Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some industry events or projects occurring during the evening or on weekends.

The successful candidate will work primarily from our offices in Vineland Station, with some opportunities for hybrid/remote work.

Duties:

  • Develop content across a full communications ecosystem with consideration to strategy, creation and production and manage our social community.
  • Work directly with the team to deeply understand the customers' needs and values and to align future messaging and content with the company's brand and voice.
  • For multiple channels including social media, web, email and print, write compelling copy in our brand voice as well as execute video assets that bring our story to life in an emotionally inspiring way.
  • Write all forms of content, including publication-worthy articles, print advertising copy, web copy, collateral, annual reports, social posts, speeches and whatever else needs writing!
  • Build decks – sales decks, pitch decks, partner decks, we need your writing as well as your creativity to bring them to life.

Requirements:

  • Strong writing, presentation skills with a knack (and love) for storytelling.
  • Naturally curious about human nature and loves to stay on top of content and consumer and tech trends
  • Whiz with PPT, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, CMS systems including WordPress, CRM systems including Mailchimp
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office
  • Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media; you have your finger on the pulse of ever-changing social media guidelines and trends
  • Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC.
    Nice to have: Hands-on experience using Campaign Marketing Automation platforms, building workflows, deploying email campaigns and configuring customer journeys.
    Education and Experience:
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing and social-media marketing content development, community management, email development with a strong understanding of data-driven campaigns and digital marketing solutions
  • Ability to convert design files into assets using Photoshop, Adobe XD or similar editors
  • Strong portfolio of written work required – provide 3 samples
