This position requires an individual with a passion for sales and an acumen for building strong client relationships. The primary focus is on developing new business and servicing existing clients. Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the team and with other teams. Commitment to continuous learning and development. Education and Experience : ~3-5 years of Sales or Marketing experience preferred. ~ Good knowledge of marketing strategies and planning. ~ Must be able to apply logical thinking to a wide range of problems, collect data, draw conclusions and offer constructive opinions concerning day-to-day activities. ~ Must understand construction phases, job situations, and project conditions for the timing of approaching customer and rental product application suggestions. ~ Knowledgeable of the entire rental fleet and be able to demonstrate equipment whenever appropriate to increase customer awareness of product offerings and product applications. ~ Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook and basic computer operation. ~ Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. ~ Previous experience with CRM tools.
