The CAD Technician is responsible for providing exceptional client care while providing clients with materials lists and shop drawings. We provide the design and construction community with inspiring architectural products for thoughtful spaces. Produce install manual drawings, technical library drawings, and other client-related drawings in CAD & Revit. Handle administrative duties (e.g. updating digital files, answering phone calls, etc.) Aid in increasing & maintaining quality assurance processes. Other duties and projects as assigned. Bachelor's degree in architecture, Building Construction Technology, Architectural and Building Technology, or related field. ~3+ years of experience working with AutoCAD. ~ Expertise in AutoCAD. ~ Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and various other construction documentation. ~ Knowledge of Stack, Bluebeam, or other estimating software is a plus. ~ Building envelope knowledge is a plus. Independently prioritize assignments and successfully implement projects on time Technical Expert: Able to communicate and implement technical guidance. Bring a can-do attitude to all assigned projects. Determine basic operating policies, devising ways of reaching program objectives, and meet any conditions affecting project progress. Detail Oriented: Able to catch mistakes, and errors and pay attention to all specifics in a project or task.
