*Job description* We are looking for a highly organized candidate with good quantitative ability for the position of Fleet Shop Coordinator. The Fleet Shop Coordinator is responsible for elevating and modifying operations, determining, and enforcing safety protocols, and managing the maintenance and service of transport vehicles. Duties would also include maintaining parts inventory, maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection, and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency, among other tasks. *Job Duties*· Maintains and promotes the corporate Health & Safety policies and procedures. · Work with the management team to stay updated on procedural knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies. Additional safety related initiatives are ongoing and promoted. · Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures. · Establishes the overall vision and direction for the implementation of the fleet operations. · Finding ways to control costs and maximize profits. · Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. · Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules. · Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency. · Monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary. · Maintaining and organizing parts inventory *Job Requirements*· Experience in the transportation industry. · Outstanding organizational skills. · Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills. · Post-Secondary education or training is an asset. · Class 3 or 1 driver's license and experience with operating commercial vehicles · Knowledge and experience with commercial vehicles and mobile equipment · Mechanical experience an asset *What we Offer:*· COR safety -certified work environment · Industry leading wages and benefits · Company pension · Dynamic work Environment Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
