Technical Writer - API Software Documentation Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening in the Online Retail space for a Technical Writer with 5+ years experience in software documentation for an external client preferably in the Retail/Ecommerce space as well as end to end documentation experience for a net new application / implementation to place at our client. Publicly traded Technology Company on the NASDAQ who conducts Grocery delivery & pick-up service and Customer Shopping Solutions in the United States and Canada. Start date: ASAP. Office Location: Downtown Toronto Terms: 6 month contract to start, possibility of extension Technical Writer - Job Description Our Client's Platform is a retail enablement platform with solutions for online and in-store commerce. We are looking for an experienced technical writer to work with our enterprise teams to document our white-label e-commerce capabilities, including online shopping, checkout, fulfillment, and order status management. You'll work directly with our Product Engineering and Management teams to understand our products, market, and audience, and then create a positive, engaging learning experience for retailers that will ultimately drive adoption and ubiquity of our products. Deliverables include release notes, product documentation, integration and deployment guides, FAQs, product tutorials, API documentation, and more. Project/Day to Day: Working to streamline the commerce platform used for all transactions and taxes Produce high-quality documentation that is tailored to our target audience. Edit content created by teammates, Work with the Product Marketing team to understand and collaborate on positioning, tone and messaging.
