Business Analyst - Group Solutions

What you'll be working on

• Provide input to the business architecture, contribute to feasibility study, cost/benefit analysis, business case, and risk assessment
• Provide input to planning decisions, monitor and report any changes in requirements, manage and report status of business analysis progress against project plan
• Use relevant modeling techniques and templates to document business requirements
• Participate in gap analysis, investigation and communication of capability gaps and evolving requirements
• Contribute to the development of a Business Requirements Document
• Provides business and system expertise along with research/analysis services that support the design, delivery and maintenance of quality applications and enhancements
• Implements business requirements and process change initiatives to ensure that all specifications meet the objectives of the Company
• Perform manual testing on occasion and as needed

What we're looking for you to have

• 3+ years experience in insurance/financial services
• Experience in Group Benefits is an asset
• Post secondary education or equivalent work experience
• Working towards CPAB or IIBA designation an asset
• Courses in facilitation skills, modeling techniques and/or stakeholder management an asset
• Ability to think logically, analyze and/or solve problems
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
• Well developed (team) facilitation skills
• Ability to construct written reports on various issues
• Ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projects
