Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Site Supervisor on the afternoon shift at RAM Iron & Metal Inc. located in North York, ON. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team of workers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting quality control checks, and coordinating with different departments.
Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Minimum 5 years experience with heavy equipment or heavy equipment certificate (Forklifts, skid steers, shears, scrap material handlers, etc.)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct quality control checks
- Physically fit and able to perform tasks in an industrial environment
- Experience in the metal recycling industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
