As a Mechanical Engineer with Krech Ojard & Associates you will be responsible for supporting client relationships, technical guidance, and adding to an outgoing company culture! A successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems for various types of industrial and multi-discipline projects. In this position you will use an application of independent engineering judgment and self-directed efforts to successfully complete projects. Ideal candidate has mining and industrial experience and is required to hold a P. E. license. Oversee and execute office and field engineering projects which can include major design and construction projects from clients based in Canada or the United States. Provide direct oversight to Engineering Technicians; Prepare detailed plans, calculations, and specifications related to a wide variety of engineering projects; Prepare proposals, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents for mechanical and multidiscipline engineering projects; Perform or oversee engineering construction inspections for assigned projects; Prepare detailed engineering reports regarding the progress and completion of engineering projects; Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related degree; Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mechanical/industrial engineering design and construction or other related engineering work; knowledge of engineering principles, methods, equipment, and materials used in construction of mechanical and multidiscipline engineering projects; planning and directing engineering technicians and assigned staff. with varied types of mechanical systems commonly found in the pulp/paper industry, mining, PRB coal storage/trans load facilities, bulk material handling systems/facilities or related industrial facilities; in using a computer, and engineering programs such as Autodesk Revit attention to detail and quality of work; health, safety and environmental focus to ensure that these elements are embedded in the design and procurement processes Conditional offers will be based on the candidate's education, experience, technical skill, and other considerations.
