Objectives: The Senior Director, Programs is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of all CCC programs in a cohesive and thoughtful way to the benefit of colorectal cancer patients, stakeholders and Colorectal Cancer Canada ('CCC"). The Senior Director, Programs, also oversees CCC programs that are pan-cancer in nature. The Senior Director, Programs needs to ensure that the programs advance CCC's mission and meet the strategic direction of the organization: Awareness, Education and Advocacy. Reports To: Executive Director Responsibilities: · Supports CCC's mission, vision and values · Assists in efforts to raise awareness, educate and support patients along their journey · Ensures Program Managers research and communicate up to date colorectal cancer prevention, treatment, and epidemiological trends · Ensures programs are based on patient and stakeholder needs · Evaluates and reports on programs and ensures objectives are met by all staff members · Engages with patients, caregivers and funders, as appropriate · Ensures programs are aligned with strategic objectives and priorities · Helps to establish and measure metrics for each program, working closely with all staff members · Ensures methodological approach and rigor across all programs · Oversees the coordination of program activities · Measures impact of all programs · Promotes the publication of program results · Communicates with health care professionals, patients, industry, and other stakeholders to help advance CCC initiatives, as appropriate · Works closely with all team members in meeting the organization's objectives Qualifications & Experience: · Master's degree in Science, Public Health, Epidemiology or related health field · At least 3 years experience in program development and/or project management · Experience in health research or scientific research · Experience in psychosocial is an asset · Customer service experience is an asset · Ability to passionately and knowledgably articulate CCC's mission and initiatives to stakeholders · Possesses dynamic communication skills with experience in knowledge translation (written, verbal and visual)· Team-oriented leadership with strong interpersonal skills · Ability to see the "big picture" · Confidence and experience in public speaking engagements · Bilingual French and English · Experience with non-governmental or non-profit organizations an asset Send CV to Carole Brohman, Executive Director [email protected]
