The Senior Field Engineer, EIT is responsible for planning, scheduling, and estimating design engineering effort on a small project or a portion of a larger project. The Senior Field Engineer, EIT supports the execution of complex tasks in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a collaborative and supportive environment for team members. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Controls expenditures on projects. Prepares and updates engineering control documents. Monitors design changes and contract extras. Reviews, analyzes, and resolves field construction problems/discrepancies. interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications for contractors or craft supervision. Engineering degree in specific discipline with 5-7 years' experience or Tech diploma with 6-8 years related experience. Related construction experience with a contractor; heavy civil, civil works, mechanical, and electrical. Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team. Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project, Blue Beam. LANGUAGES ~ Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English.
