Our client, a non-profit charitable organization, is looking to hire a full-time Operations Manager. Their mission is to provide high-quality, cutting-edge educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs for infants, children, and teens with special needs, and to assist their families by offering support and respite. As an experienced and proactive Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of all logistical and facilities-related functions of the organization. This position requires a combination of strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities. Facilities Maintenance: • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of facilities. • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including but not limited to HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building repairs. Administrative Support: • Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management of facilities staff and external contractors • Manage procurement processes for supplies, equipment, and services. • Assist in organizing events, meetings, and special projects as needed. Health and Safety Compliance: • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to health, safety, and environmental standards. • Coordinate training sessions for staff on health and safety protocols as necessary. Budget Management: • Logistical Management: • Plan and execute all logistics related to events, programs, construction, and special projects. • Coordinate transportation services for students and staff, including bus schedules and routes. • Previous experience in operations management, preferably in a human service organization • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications. • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plan. •
