The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the day-to-day HR functions, including Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Employee Relations, and Systems Management. This role will also be the first point of contact to support and serve employees, supervisors and managers on HR issues and activities. Assist hiring Managers in developing and implementing focused recruitment campaigns. Manage the full cycle recruitment activities. Create and present all employee life cycle changes (employment contracts, amendment letters, status change forms) and making necessary changes in ADP. Assist Supervisors and Managers with performance management including coaching, progressive discipline, and terminations. Assist Supervisors and Managers with the identification of training needs. In coordination with HR team, facilitate training on specific topics, such as performance management and attendance management. Participate in the review, and redevelopment of Human Resource policies, programs, and procedures. Lead Social Committee to plan and participate in employee events. Post-Secondary degree in Business Admin or Human Resources Management, or Diploma in HR with relevant experience. A CHRP designation would be an asset. Three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience. A self-motivated individual who can operate autonomously but also as part of a team and is able to motivate others and build and effective HR team.
