We are looking for an Intermediate BIM Technician to join our passionate, talented team. Our ideal candidate has a precise understanding of structural drawings and is enthusiastic about leading projects, mentoring junior technicians, and working collaboratively as part of a team. Have a deep understanding of architectural and structural drawings Develop structural design drawings and 3D models according to Aspect's project quality standards Lead and execute BIM projects of all sizes Prepare design submissions and other technical documents Be proficient with Revit model and drawing production) Be able to work on projects that require creating and solving complex geometry Contribute to the team's technical knowledge resources as well as mentor junior BIM technicians Be involved in ongoing communication and coordination with contractors, other consultants, and suppliers 4 to 6+ years experience in a similar position with a background in commercial, residential, and/or institutional projects. ~ Technical degree/diploma/certificate from a related program ~ Strong Revit skills, including family modification and model and parameter management ~ Experience with architecturally expressive structures in a wide variety of building materials Background in CAD/CAM fabrication software Through thoughtful yet pragmatic design practices and rigorous training, the engineers at ASPECT understand not only their role in contributing to a project but also how to support the roles of others.
