Inventory Coordinator – Contract (3 months)

As the Inventory Coordinator, you'll manage inventory and facilitate stock transfers using manual processes, primarily Excel. Your role is crucial for maintaining optimal stock levels, preventing stockouts, and ensuring smooth stock movements between locations, contributing to an efficient supply chain.

Key responsibilities:

Manual Inventory Management:

 Utilize Excel and other manual tracking tools for monitoring stock levels, turnover rates, and reorder points.

 Implement manual processes for updating and reconciling inventory data, including receiving stock transfers into the SAGE ERP system.

 Stock Transfer Coordination:

 Plan and execute stock transfers between locations using manual tracking methods.

 Ensure accurate documentation of stock movements for audit purposes.

 Demand Forecasting Collaboration:

 Work closely with the demand planner to incorporate forecasting insights into manual inventory management decisions.

 Adjust stock levels based on anticipated demand changes and market trends.

 Communication and Coordination:

 Communicate with relevant teams, including logistics, distribution, and external partners, to coordinate manual stock transfers.

 Ensure timely and accurate information exchange between locations involved in stock

movements.

Excel Expertise:

 Leverage advanced Excel functionalities for data analysis, reporting, and generating insights into

inventory performance.

 Develop and maintain Excel-based tools for efficient inventory tracking and reporting.

 Reporting and Analysis:

 Analyze manual data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and optimize manual stock transfer processes.

Team Collaboration:

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and distribution, aligning manual stock transfer strategies with overall business goals.

 Provide training and support to team members involved in manual inventory and stock transfer processes.

Qualifications and skills:

 Proficiency in Excel and manual inventory management processes.

 Previous experience in manual inventory coordination, preferably in Excel-based environments.

 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in manual data handling.

 Effective communication and coordination skills.

 Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a manual approach.

 In the process of obtaining CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CCLP (Certified Logistics and Transportation Professional) designation (preferred but not required).

 Experience using ERP systems (SAGE experience an asset)
