*Qualifications:*
* You have a University Degree in Occupational Therapy
* You are a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
* You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
* A minimum of 1 year of general OT mental health experience
* Completion of at least one of the following courses: CBT, ACT, DBT (please note if you do not have this there is opportunity to take one of the following courses in your first year with FA)
*What is a day in the life of a FA Occupational Therapist?*
* You will assess and treat individuals suffering from various neurological, orthopedic disorders, mental health and injuries
* You will assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals within their home and in a community setting
* You will create and implement individualized treatment plans based on occupational analysis and clinical reasoning
* You will liaise with a variety of community partners and rehab professionals to facilitate client goals and independence
* You will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training sessions and establishing personal networks
