We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer who will play a key role in leading and managing geotechnical projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, conducting site investigations, analyzing data, and designing cost-effective and practical solutions to address geotechnical challenges. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will also mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Manage and lead geotechnical projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Oversee all aspects of project management, including proposals, project planning, project scheduling, budgeting, and appropriate resource allocation. Conduct site investigations, field surveys, and geotechnical assessments to gather relevant data and assess site conditions. Perform geotechnical analyses and engineering calculations using industry-standard software and methodologies. Design foundation systems, retaining structures, slope stabilization measures, and other geotechnical structures. Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and other deliverables for clients, regulators, and stakeholders. Review and interpret geotechnical data, laboratory test results, and environmental impact assessments. Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients, project teams, and stakeholders on geotechnical issues and solutions. Mentor and supervise junior engineers, technicians, and field staff, and provide guidance on technical matters and professional development. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, environmental consultants, and other stakeholders to integrate geotechnical considerations into project designs. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout the project lifecycle. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes. Strong proficiency in geotechnical analysis software such as gINT, Plaxis, GeoStudio. In-depth knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability analysis, and geotechnical design principles. Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of project work.
