Opportunity

We are in need of a highly self-motivated, talented and detail-oriented Insurance Service Team Lead to join our continued successful growing team. We are hoping to find someone with a minimum of 2 years of P&C experience in a leadership role.

Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities of the Insurance Service Team Lead will include but not limited to:

  • Work closely with Manager and other leads to ensure team(s) meet(s) or exceed KPIs
  • Coaching, training and feedback of service brokers to help your team develop towards its potential
  • Involvement in the interviewing of our growing team (supported by our HR team)
  • Provides guidance and feedback to team to enhance product/service skills and knowledge
  • Responds verbally and in writing to escalated calls, ensuring mutually agreeable outcome to both the client, insurer and brokerage whenever possible
  • Actions QA results and provides feedback to team members regarding quality, ratings and comments received on an ongoing basis
  • Works with QA and Management to ensure file documentation, and underwriting are performed up to brokerage standards
  • Works with leadership to develop and implements processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency
  • Actively manages the phone queues to ensure team members are SLA compliant and answers inbound service calls, quotes and converts when SLAs are at risk of not being met
  • Leads referral, x-date, cross sell and upsell campaigns as designed by leadership team
  • Conducts regular feedback sessions and team meetings
  • Operational responsibilities as needed including liaising with 3rd party technology vendors and cross-functional teams within our organization
  • Supports team manager and performs management duties when manager is absent or out of office
  • Responsible for actively working new ideas for retention solutions

The standard work hours will be from 10am – 6pm with a rotating 12pm- 8pm shifts and 8am- 4pm shifts.
