Job Summary
The successful candidate will work with the applications development team to create industry leading solutions that focus on both client engagement as well as our internal operations. Key responsibilities will include developing products based on pre-determined requirements with a strong understanding of what the end product should amount to, communicating time blocks and technological limitations with the development team and other stakeholders as necessary, and focusing on developing great products with as few iterations as possible.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
▪ Develop end to end solutions with a focus on user experience and intractability
▪ Build with the future in mind(modular, clean concise code)
▪ Work with internal teams to resolve complex issues within our systems
▪ Perform routine code reviews
▪ Ensure viability of all new code through appropriate testing in the development process
▪ Suggest improvements/features that would benefit our various stakeholders
▪ Understand how various technologies/components interact with each other
▪ Assist other Orca team members with day-to-day operations as required
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
▪ C# ASP.NET
▪ SQL
▪ JS/CSS/HTML5/Bootstrap
▪ Entity Framework
▪ git, or other repository management systems
▪ REST APIs
▪ Strong understanding of OOP principals
▪ Ability to understand and implement software patterns
The following skills are not required but would be beneficial to both the candidate and Orca:
▪ VB.NET
▪ Azure DevOps
▪ Telerik
▪ Azure Pipelines
▪ Experience in the Transportation industry
