Executive In Residence, Consultant – IP Strategy Contract: 11 months (End March 31st, 2025) Edmonton Unlimited is the innovation agency for the City of Edmonton and works to deliver programs, community events, and support that innovators and problem-solvers need to turn their ideas into solutions. By working collaboratively across various stakeholders in the industry, academia, civil society, and leading peer cities, Edmonton Unlimited is fostering a rich innovation ecosystem for the benefit of all and mobilizing innovation communities for maximum international impac ity Serving as connector and coach, the Consultant shall work, alongside Edmonton Unlimited's Head of Startup and PSI Specialist, within a team of executives in residence (EIRs) and relevant innovation service providers/partners in Edmonton and elsewhere (as applicable). The Consultant will advise and support students and staff who are potential innovators and founders building technology-based businesses at the following Edmonton post-secondary institutions: NAIT, Concordia University of Edmonton, NorQuest College Edmonton Campus, University of Alberta, MacEwan University, The King's University, Athabasca and Yellowhead Tribal College (the "Post-Secondari es")The EIR will be dispatched to the post-secondaries based on demand for their specific expertise through office hours and bespoke support to serve the needs of the post-secondary innovators and founders.
