Good day Data Engineers ! Insight Global is looking for 6 Sr or Lead Data Engineers to join a large Asset Management company in Toronto on a full time basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading projects end-to-end within the Data Distribution Team or Asset Management Team . This role is heavily hands on and requires strong experience with cloud data services technologies, data pipelines/distribution, and Python/PySpark scripting. This is a hybrid role where candidates are required to go into office mandatory 3 days/week at their downtown Toronto location. Experience : - University Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent - 7-10 years experience in Data Engineering roles within any industry - 5+ years experience with public cloud platforms (AWS Preferred)- Strong experience building data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and PowerShell - Strong experience with data technologies such as Hadoop, EMR, and Glue - Strong Experience with Lambda, Airflow, and EC2- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams Nice to have: Experience in asset management or financial industry
