Construction Pipe Foreman/Heavy Civil Gordon Barr Ltd. has an immediate opening for a full time Construction Foreman . We are engaged in various types of Heavy civil projects which encompass re-construction, site works, and subdivisions. The primary responsibilities of this position will include daily management and performance of: · Liaison with Management and field operations · Ordering of product and equipment for site · Responsible for all on site safety · Responsible for collection and maintaining of accurate paperwork surrounding the project · Must obtain recognized supervisory training, and hold certificates in WHMIS, Working at Heights, Trenching, Hoisting and Rigging, CPR, Confined Space · Quantity surveying – quantifying earth work and site improvements for payment certificates · Survey and/or Construction experience. · Familiar with survey software, hardware, tools and equipment · Experience with topography, line work, elevation data · Total Station/GPS/CAD/Microsoft Office experience an asset · Valid driver's license · Company Truck · Phone · Group Benefits / Medical and Dental.
