The Site Reliability Analyst (SRA) works to ensure applications and infrastructure are stable and performing optimally. The role understands how systems relate and puts in place monitors to identify optimization opportunities and improve productivity through automation. Using various tools, the SRA will limit operational work, provide data to prevent incidents, and take proactive actions to prevent outages. Working in an agile environment, intellectual curiosity, problem solving, collaboration, and valuing diversity are key to success. Collaborate cross-functionally on monitoring tools, dashboards and reports. Analyze metrics, identify trends and address risks to reliability. Create knowledge documents focused on usability, accuracy and content. Participate in industry developments and training, and contribute to strategic roadmap. Computer science, IT, or related degree or 2+ years relevant experience 2+ years experience with all stages of system development 2+ years experience with ITIL, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies ITIL, Scrum, and/or Six Sigma certification preferred. Experience analyzing and presenting data using business analysis and business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards. Experience with Splunk or similar software for exploring big data. Experience with tools like Broadcom Monitoring Suite for operational monitoring and performance management. Experience with automating repeatable tasks (using Ansible, scripting language) Demonstrated sensitivity to workplace ethics, diversity, and harassment issues.
