Overview:

CDW Canada's Modern Workspace Services Practice is looking for a strong and experienced technical candidate that will support current efforts to stand up and build out our Endpoint Device Management Team, specializing in Apple platforms such as MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, as well as Vision Pro. The successful candidate will have the ability to assess, implement, and manage industry standard MDM based endpoint solution such as MS Intune, as well as JAMF, with a focus on a highly secure zero-touch deployment methodology. This senior engineering role is a core member of a subject matter expert team that enables customers to effectively adopt and apply Apple technologies to create amazing employee experiences, while following sound and secure industry best practises. The chosen candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and deep analytical skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to work effectively with business and IT stakeholders. Key performance metrics include delivery excellence (on-time, on-budget project delivery), continuous professional development, knowledge transfer and training development, as well as a high level of customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Manager of Modern Workspace Services, this role will additionally be responsible for supporting CDW's internal Mac/iOS client showcase development environment, by ensuring it is maintained to the latest standards and technology trends within the industry. The candidate will demonstrate sound technical written skills, ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers, as well as IT leaders on a technical/business level. Strong leadership, effective organization, time management, and the ability to work self-motivated are key attributes to the success of this senior Apple technology engineering role.

Responsibilities:

· Pre-sales and RFP support where required for existing and new client opportunities.

· Mac/iOS/tvOS/iPadOS/Vision Pro Lifecycle planning, and roadmap development based on industry trending and product announcements.

· Participate in the development of Device-as-a-Service (DAAS) and Managed Services program and collateral, as well as device analytics capabilities.

· Continuous platform research/roadmap development of core MDM management platforms such as Intune, JAMF, as well as emerging platforms.

· Support of established key vendor relationships, as well as platform specific development updates to be presented in established cadence forum as they relate to the Modern Workspace governance cadence.

· Cross-collaboration and technical mentorship to support-groups such as Remote Support/Management/Security as they relate to ongoing development and client opportunities/projects.

· Lead client engagement sessions, such current state assessment services, design workshops, etc.

· Ongoing maintenance and development of existing and new self-service and automation capabilities within the endpoint technology stack

· Actively participate within the Mac/iOS Admin Slack Community channels

Qualification Requirements

· Expert Apple Mac/iOS software and hardware level expertise, minimum 5 years experience with at least 2-3 years as a Mac/iOS administrator.

· Minimum JAMF level 300 certification, advanced MS Intune skills and knowledge, additional MDM platform experience an asset.

· Proven ability to summarize and document complex business/technical scenarios.

· Solid written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively listen.

· Proven ability to align Apple/CDW solutions to customer objectives.

· Ability to multitask and effectively manage deadlines based on urgency and priority.

· Work effectively within a fast-paced, complex environment with an unpredictable and demanding work schedule.

· Experienced presentation skills, superior organization skills and a strong attention to detail.

· Effective at managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meeting deadlines and working well under pressure, along with proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

· Able to participate in afterhours work as required through scheduled on-call rotation/as required.
