Mission

We're looking for a candidate to the engineering profession (CPI) to join our multidisciplinary Infrastructure team and work on municipal and Road engineering projects of various sizes. You will have the opportunity to choose to work on institutional (schools and healthcare facilities) or municipal infrastructure projects for both public and private sector clients. We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement, with you alternating between your home and our Baie-Comeau office (one day or more per week, depending on your preference).

Primary Responsibilities

1. Design stormwater management structures, sewer systems, waterworks and roadways, and plan excavation and grading work
2. Coordinate technical aspects of projects with design technicians, other disciplines involved, customers and third parties
3. Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, construction cost estimates, as well as various studies (specific techniques, feasibility and preliminary design)
4. Plan work phases and schedules
5. Assist the project manager with management tasks
6. Carry out occasional site visits and provide follow-up (technical assistance) from the office

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or eligible to become a member
Good command of written and spoken French
ASP Construction card or in the process of obtaining one
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
