Our esteemed client in the manufacturing industry is currently seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in administering the company's Credit Policy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to both short and long-term organizational goals while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Conducting collections, dispute resolution, order releases, and credit investigations for a diverse clientele. Communicating with customers to secure payments, follow up on overdue balances, and resolve issues. Maintaining accurate documentation of collection actions and correspondence using specialized software. Analyzing accounts to understand payment trends and previous collection efforts. Prioritizing collection efforts and implementing effective strategies. Managing assigned portfolios to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and past dues. Recommending legal or third-party actions when necessary, considering debtors' financial positions and risks to the company. Evaluating and documenting credit limits based on various factors. Collaborating with internal departments to address customer issues related to order processing, delivery, and project fulfillment. Reconciling customer accounts and requesting appropriate adjustments. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Adhering to professional communication standards at all times. Qualifications: ~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or related field. ~1-3 years of continuous experience in a comparable B2B distribution role. ~ Bilingual proficiency in English/French is mandatory. ~ Familiarity with SX.e ERP and Sidetrade interface is advantageous. ~ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. ~ Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
