Job Description:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

  1. Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  2. Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  3. Collect and screen applicants
  4. Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  5. Review candidate inventories
  6. Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  7. Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  8. Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  9. Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  10. Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  11. Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  12. Provide information or services such as employee assistance, counselling and recognition programs
  13. Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
  14. Recruit and hire staff

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook
