Manage full cycle accounting functions at the consolidated and subsidiary levels. ~ For the ongoing constructions, ensure proper coding of expenses and perform detailed comparison of actual vs budget ~ For the commercial rentals, prepare annual CAM Cost reconciliation ~ Ensure all the statutory filings and payments are made on time [GST, PST, Payroll, Corporate tax, WCB, WHT, UHT, etc]~ Prepare quarterly reportings as per the requirements of the banks i.e. liaise with banks to comply with loan requirements ~ Support annual financial statement audit requirements i.e. liaise with external accountants to complete year-ends on time ~ Develop accounting policies and controls as business expands. ~ Assist and advice the accounting team as and when needed. Competency in MS Office Experience with Sage 50 and Sage 300 CRE is an asset. A complete or comprehensive understanding of accounting practices and procedures Minimum of 1 - 3 years' experience as junior accountant. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent 10 hour shift ~8 hour shift
