About the Role

  • As a compassionate and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring convenient and efficient blood draw services for our clients across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This role involves traveling to patients' homes or designated locations to perform blood draws for lab testing, and transporting blood samples.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to scheduled appointments with patients at their homes or designated locations within the GTA.
  • Professionally greet and introduce yourself to patients, explaining the blood draw procedure in a clear and calming manner.
  • Follow all designated and established blood draw protocols.
  • Ensure a clean and sterile work environment, following all infection control guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records related to blood draw procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with laboratory personnel and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Phlebotomist with a valid license from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Professionals (CSMLT) or a recognized equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 year of experience in a clinical setting or mobile phlebotomy service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and ensure patient comfort in various settings.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Reliable and dependable with a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle for travel to appointments within the GTA.
  • Ability to work independently while also following company protocols.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Experience with Dynacare or Lifelabs is preferred but not required.
