    The Business Systems Analyst will participate in a variety of projects, in various roles, to assist with evaluating, procuring, implementing, and supporting a broad range of systems and applications with a focus on Finance. The analyst will work closely with the Finance and Foundation teams at Halton Healthcare to support their operations and applications such as billing, revenue cycle processes, claims, general ledger, materials management, payroll, and accounts payable. They must have the ability to prepare/update training and reference manuals and other support material. The analyst must become familiar with core application workflows and the underlying technical environment to provide backup for other analysts and participate in the on-call rotation.

    Halton Healthcare Services is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; are team players; effective communicators; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible.

    • Information Technology Degree or Diploma or equivalent education/work experience
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in ananalyst role
    • Knowledge of MEDITECH Expanse an asset (specifically RCG, CLM, MM, PP, AP, and GL)
    • Knowledge of financial healthcare operations an asset
    • Knowledge of Ontario Healthcare insurance billing & reporting requirements an asset
    • Excellent communication/business analysis/problem solving/root cause analysis skills
    • Experienced in implementing/supporting wide variety of systems/applications, workflow analysis, and benefits maximization
    • Previous experience in system upgrades; software installations and system rebuild
    • Knowledge of SharePoint Online including Power Apps and Power Automate an asset
    • Facilitate technical discussions with teams, vendors, business users, and stakeholders.
    • Leads small to medium projects, coordinating with stakeholders throughout the organization to understand and achieve collaborative solutions
    • Previous experience training adult computer users with positive outcomes
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office product line including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) designation an asset
    • Able to handle multiple responsibilities with competing priorities in a fast-paced progressive environment
    • Must be well-organized, self-directed, and be able to interact patiently and effectively with staff
    • Must be physically able to do the job
    • Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
    • Hours: Monday to Friday; Days 0800-1600
