The salary range for this position is CAD $25.CAD $27.Join the Patient Food team working out at Adult Daycare in North Vancouver, BC to promote a safe and respectful working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. Prepare, serve and store a variety of food and snack items while reporting to the Manager of the Adult Day Centre, and working within the program's goals and objectives. Assist program workers clients in baking projects and other activities suitable in the kitchen area. Graduation from a recognized 12 month program in cooking and recent, related experience cooking for seniors, including those with modified diet and/or food texture needs, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Current Food Safe Certificate required. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. As per the current Public Health Orders, as of October 5, 2023, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have received a single dose of the most-recent, updated COVID-19 vaccine.
