Job Description:
On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a ASP.Net Core Software Developer to join a team working on an enterprise digital upgrade.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in meetings and workshops to gather requirements and understand business processes.
- Analyze functional requirements, user research, and other artifacts to inform software design and development.
- Develop applications, shared components, APIs, and databases to meet user needs and support business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Conduct software demonstrations to team members and stakeholders.
- Communicate progress and identify risks, impediments, and dependencies effectively.
- Provide knowledge transfer to other team members to foster collaboration and skill development.
- Offer early life support post go-live to ensure smooth transition and user satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in building software applications using ASP.Net Core.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, jQuery, VBScript, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience with Visual Studio 2022 or later.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and OpenShift (or any container platform).
- Knowledge and experience with SAML 2.0 for authentication.
- Experience with Amazon S3 Storage Solution for data storage.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, particularly in SQL Server, and expertise in database migration techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends.
