This FULL-TIME position provides SENIOR level support in the daily general accounting functions. This position provides an opportunity to demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills while staying organized. Reporting to CFO, this role will manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, and establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysis of data and record accounting transactions
  • Review and approve standard journal entries
  • Work for the accounting of a group of companies' representatives to ensure accuracy of accounting and reporting
  • Organize and keep the accounting, tax, and corporate documents in good standing both paper and soft copies
  • Review and analysis of financial reports
  • Review and report daily bank balances/ monthly cash forecast
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports
  • File and review corporate income tax, GST returns, and payroll source deductions
  • Work with external accountants and other professionals for various tasks
  • Other work assigned by the management of the Company

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree with accountancy major, or Diploma in Accounting program
Minimum work experience at a senior level for 4 years in an accounting department

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, time management and workload prioritization skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
English language proficiency with written and spoken clarity
Mandarin language skill as a requirement
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, notably Excel, Quickbook, Sage 50

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $63,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
