It will be extremely visible to the executive team. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Identify disruptive trends (and associated opportunities for IBM) in application development, deployment, and management. Advise product portfolio managers and executive team on all research, identified trends/opportunities, and competitive intelligence. Work with product management leadership and sales leadership around the world to understand and track the health and adoption of product offers and gather feedback. Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Understanding of the capabilities provided by hyperscalers (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), and how application developers are using them. Understanding and currency in leading programming languages, their frameworks, and communities (e.g. Java, Python, Javascript, Rust, Go, etc.) Understanding of emerging capabilities in generative AI, including its usage in developing software application code, test cases, etc. Proven ability to present to executives and large enterprise customers. #
