Position Overview

Calian is proactively seeking General Military Instructors in the following subjects: Communications, Navigation and Driver wheel. Individuals will help support the design, development and delivery of Canadian Forces Health Services Group Training and Education programs across various locations; Petawawa, ON, Valcartier, QC, and Edmonton AB.

Responsibilities

• Instruct general military T&E programs
• Develop lesson plans
• Prepare classroom, equipment, job aids and learning tools for instruction
• Set up/break down of training requirements such as dismantling equipment and classrooms
• Counsel and provide remedial T&E to students who are experiencing academic difficulties
• Advice on student performance during PRBs
• Evaluate students
• Maintain student files
• Advise on the quality and efficiency of the instruction

Qualifications

• Minimum of a secondary school diploma
• Completion of CAF PLQ (Primary Leadership Qualification) or equivalent training
• Completed a minimum of sixty training days within the last three years instructing in the following subjects: Communications, Navigation or Driver wheel

Additional Requirements

• Specific Pre requisites vary depending on Instructor position and will be discussed during interview process
• Bilingualism an asset
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance
• Ability to provide a driving abstract showing a clean driving record with the last three years
