Job Description A Barista has a passion for customer service and is able to greet, prepare food & beverages, serve, and cash out guests with a smile. An ability to work independently and as part of a team is important while creating an exceptional experience for all. Our Baristas are fanatical about cleanliness and pay close attention to detail. The Day to Day: Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service Answer questions and make recommendations on food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services Prepare cold and hot beverages to standard Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system Monitor food quality and presentation standards Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and service Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern Monitor the cleanliness of grab & go area and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing grab & go products Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely Follow all food safety standards and systems Other duties as assigned or required Qualifications High School Diploma High attention to detail and cleanliness Passionate about customer service Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment Organizational skills and sales ability Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests Experience in a similar environment an asset Additional Information Oliver & Bonacini's Diversity Commitment At Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality, we are committed to treating every employee with dignity and respect.
