This is youropportunity to use yourRed Sealtechnical chops, communication, and troubleshooting skills to keep our modern sawmill running at peak performance. You will be working alongside the best and brightest in the business with aninnovativeleaderin the forest products industry. This role is a fulltime schedule with varying shifts.

The life of the Certified Millwright includes:

-Working with ahigh-performance teamdedicated tomaintaining all mill machineryincludingpumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings and pneumatic systemsinvolved in the manufacturing process
-Keeping our systems running smoothly byperforming preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance. This includesinspecting machinery and equipmentto detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions, and the ability to work under pressure.
-Managing your time effectively by assessing carefully and can distinguish when to assemble, move, replace, or dismantle machinery.
-Applying your knowledge, skills, and experience totroubleshoot issues, boost equipment reliability and implement safe, reliable fixesto keep the mill running
-Having great attention to detail to identify and request relevant parts to complete repairs in a timely manner
-Accountability for assisting in a safe work environment for coworkers, customers and visitors on site

For this role, you'll come equipped with:

-Red Seal Certification as an Industrial Mechanic
-Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs
-High degree of urgency
-Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers

Knowledge of the lumber or industrial manufacturing process is an asset as well as experience with welding procedures and equipment reliability

The hourly rate for this position is: $46.08
