With a strong, active and familial culture, Pub United is the agency's social club, hosting events as wide reaching as Curling, Trivia Nights and more.Publicis Health Montreal is looking for a Senior Director, Medical Strategy with both US and Canadian Health expertise.The Senior Director, Medical Strategy assumes responsibility for understanding the scientific and clinical aspects of their assigned brands in depth with even more independence and responsibility than the senior medical director level. They serve as a key medical strategy resource for both internal teams and clients leveraging their scientific knowledge in brand differentiation and communications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to represent the medical perspective throughout strategic/creative development, and ensuring scientific/medical accuracy and relevance. At this level, there is very little reliance on senior medical guidance.The Senior Director, Medical Strategy will need to demonstrate well-developed client relationships and the ability to use their medical expertise to strongly support and enhance the strategic focus of their brands. Knowledge/Expertise Develop depth of understanding for assigned products, related medical areas, and competitors on an ongoing basisStrong understanding of FDA, Veeva, PAAB guidelines, IMC Code of Conduct, Food and DrugCritically review content developed by others in the agency, including copywriters, art directors, brand strategists, and account leadDemonstrate versatility in application of disease state, clinical knowledge, and strategic skill set to all brands and impart that knowledge to team leadsDemonstrate understanding of the strategic imperatives for all brandsCombine in-depth scientific understanding of the product and disease state with market awareness to provide high-level communication planning for clientsElevate, expand, and refine strategic offerings of the medical strategy departmentInteract with and, if necessary, lead discussions with internal teams, clients, and HCPs to help meet strategic objectives of the brandProactively identifies medical opportunities that contribute to strategic and tactical developmentClient Relationships Own and manage the day-to-day client strategy and relationships for multiple accountsOnboard new team members, including clients new to brand team, as neededBusiness Development Lead medical research and development efforts for new business pitchesDevelop medical insights and help craft the immersion section of a pitch presentation in collaboration with account and strategic planning partnersCommunication Skills Clearly communicate medical concepts across multiple pieces of business in a condensed, audience-appropriate way to clients, KOLs, and internal cross-functional teamsProject confidence as an expert in your assigned brands/therapeutic categoriesWork collaboratively with members of cross-functional teams to help develop and review strategic deliverablesstrategic planning, digital, creative) to ensure efficient workflow managementActively participate in and contribute to team discussions and planning sessionsEfficiently manage assigned workflows to ensure team deadlines are metManagement and Leadership Direct the work of any junior team members working on the same brands.
