VP, Street Pricing – Property, Lifestyle and Business Insights page is loaded VP, Street Pricing – Property, Lifestyle and Business Insights Apply locations Markham posted on Posted 4 Days Ago job requisition id R-141076 Reporting to SVP PI Pricing, the VP, Street Pricing – Property, Lifestyle and Business Insight role is ultimately responsible for developing the pricing strategy in PI business segments using best in class actuarial expertise, analysis and insights. The role is accountable for the leadership and direction of over $1.5B of Property and Lifestyle portfolios within Personal Insurance business. This individual is ultimately responsible for the success of all rates and rating programs which are implemented across all personal property, lifestyle and HNW book across Aviva Canada including RBC, Direct and Group. Collaborates with internal pricing and analytics teams to transform technical pricing and analytics models into the street pricing which is ultimately delivered to our customers Is a key partner with business development and segment management to determine regional / segment pricing strategies and executes on those strategies to successfully grow our business (top & bottom line) Monitors our competitive position in all segments across Canada by collaborating with business development and internal competitive intelligence teams and leverages this information to improve our business Works in close collaboration with other areas of the business such as Corporate Actuarial, Claims, Finance, Analytics, Underwriting and Government Relations to develop a deep understanding of Aviva's personal insurance business Responsible for working with external regulators and other stakeholders to influence decisions which will impact the ability to achieve Aviva's business outcomes. Accountable for leading regional and segment street pricing teams each of which will specialize in the performance and nuances of their region / segment to deliver on each segment's strategy to ensure we are delivering desired results as well as addressing factors that are impacting profitability Provide business insight and support ad-hoc requests for Pricing and the broader PI business Manages relationships with various internal and external stakeholders such as Underwriting, Analytics, Claims, Reserving, Finance, Distribution and Provincial Regulators.
