Property Accountant (CPA Pre-approved Program) Finance and Accounting – CPA Pre-approved Program / Allied is looking for a Property Accountant to join our CPA Pre-approved Program. In the role of Property Accountant, you will manage the full accounting cycle of a portfolio of commercial properties. This, in turn, allows Allied to make financial decisions that benefit our communities with accuracy and efficiency. We are building upon our achievements at Allied, and the future is exciting. Throughout your education in Accounting or a related field, you have stood out for your pursuit of excellence. Manage the full accounting cycle of a portfolio of properties, including preparing journal entries, monthly operating costs, and tax recovery estimates. Review and analyze financial statements, balance sheets and recovery ratios to provide variance analysis. Prepare final annual operating costs and tax recovery adjustments, including preparing CAM audit statements and assisting with property tax appeals. Provide information for audit related queries and property appraisers and ensure that monthly reporting deadlines are met. Support our Finance team in the completion of annual budget and special projects. Strong interest in the field of commercial real estate, accounting & finance. Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
