Equipment Operator duties include but are not limited to:

• Reporting directly to the foreman/on-site supervisor.
• Adhering the ALL-safety policies and procedures.
• Taking direction from and working with the client to obtain the desired results.
• Loading and unloading site materials or equipment as required.
• Tending to general maintenance of equipment as required. (Greasing, oil changes, etc.)
• Keeping the equipment clean and in good shape at ALL times.
• Working safely with the ground crew, supporting, and mentoring them when applicable.
• Lifting and carrying heavy objects up to 50lbs (Greater than 50lbs with an approved assisted lift plan)
• May be responsible for some jobsite planning/ordering.
• Ensuring coworkers are following all safety practices and procedures.
• Complying with ALL safety standards set forth by Northrok Construction Ltd. and their respective clients.

General Labourers

Labourer duties include but are not limited to:

• Reporting directly to their Lead Hand/Onsite Supervisor
• Loading and unloading site materials or equipment.
• Spotting traffic or construction equipment on site or on roadways
• Lifting and carrying heavy objects up to 50lbs (Greater than 50lbs with an approved assisted lift plan)
• Shovelling, raking using wheelbarrows etc.
• Strapping equipment/materials down as per Northrok policy and procedures.
• Operating pneumatic equipment such as jackhammers, packers & tampers.
• Tending to general maintenance of equipment as required. (Greasing, oil changes, etc.)
• Washing equipment to a high standard of Northrok Construction Ltd. and client satisfaction.
• Complying with ALL safety standards set forth by Northrok Construction Ltd. and their respective clients.
• Traffic Control

Certification Requirements:

• Class 5 Drivers Licence
• Standard First Aid
• H2S
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods
• Northrok Orientation, WHMIS & any applicable client orientations.

Other certificates may be required depending on scope of work
